Last time I wrote home I was having problem with my stomach, unfortunately the pains have got worse and I have now started to be sick in the evenings. I have managed to returned to ABC, but my team left yesterday for the north col, without me, and they are spending a second night on top before trying to reach 7500m tomorrow.
Regrettably but fortunately for me, 2 other members of the team have also fallen ill, with problems ranging from chest infections, to khumbu cough. While this is bad for them, it is nice to have company and people to talk to, rather than being alone here.
The three of us have decided to stay at ABC an extra couple of nights.
